| Armstrong debuts in Brisbane |

Ex rower Rachel Armstrong turned triathlete made her debut in the World Age Group Sprint Triathlon Championships in Brisbane.
Despite very little specific triathlon training she gained 20th place in the 35-39 age group category - a great bike and run with a solid swim (swimming is Rachels weakest link but fast improving) - this was Rachel's first taste (literally) of swimming in the sea.
Of the back of a 2:37 full Olympic distance triathlon earlier in the summer Rachel should become a force to be reckoned with in her age group in 2010. |
