You may have noticed the Wattbike logo which has appeared on the website. This gives a driect link to wattbike.com.
Eddie Fletcher has been working with Wattbike as the resident Sports Scientist and Physiologist for some time.
Have a good look around the website - the Wattbike will do for cycling what the indoor rower did for rowing. The Wattbike is a very accurate (as accurate as a SRM) bike that creates the feel of riding a bike using different gears and cadence.
Power output (watts) is accurate and comparable from Wattbike to Wattbike - this means it can be used from laboratory testing to training and exercise and most importantly for racing.
The Wattbike is the only bike endorsed by British Ccycling and is already in use for talent identification across a number of sports in addition to cycling and as the first choice of training tool.
Over the last few weeks Eddie Fletcher has literally been round the World showing the Wattbike most notably to Florin Rousseau (French National Coach), to Australian Cycling and Triathlon in Adelaide and to USA Cycling and Triathlon in Colorada Springs.
He has also been running a number of events for British Cycling at their Manchester and Newport Velodrome Sprint Cycling Schools.
